just back from sovereign

what a vacation - i'm exhausted! we did the four night, five day out of port canaveral on 4/19 - cocoa cay was unbelievalbe, rented wave runners and had great tour insturctors - full throttle tour so going 50+ miles per hour - my arms and legs were killing me for next two days but well worth it.
the beach was increcible - kids and hubby wnet to shipwreck and plane wreck with snorkle stuff and loved it
headed into nassau next dayt -swam with the stingrays and then did the historical harbor and atlantis tour = would defintely skip that - bour for all involved - really wanted to parasail so the people in atlantis told us where to go on the beach - it was fantastic!!!!!!
down side nassau closes at 6 pn but the ship is thereuntil midnight -= defintae down side as we would have loved to have gotten into town and played around but no such luck - the good side, probably safed money but it would have been fun
hair braiding went anywhere from 30 - 75 - 30 is good, and they are more than wlling to do it for that price.

really a great trip - needed more food - thought that was lacking but the drinks and fun more than madeup for it -
had terrible seat mates at dinner but that was their loss not ours
soverign may be an older ship but man is it one classy lady!@

Glad to hear you enjoyed your trip on the Sovereign. Sorry to hear your tablemates weren't the greatest, anything specific or just personality differences?
We've been lucky, so far in all our cruises we've never had really "BAD" table mates, some better than others but none ever horrible.
Only a few more days & I get another turn on the Sov.
