What is the best way to book a cabin? I am looking at booking a cruise for next year, but was wondering if I should book through a TA or just through Royal Carribean. What is the best way to find a TA? Are there good online souces that offer on board credits or other perks? Thanks in advance for any help

Royal Caribbean sets the price. Which means TA's can not offer you anything lower. If the price is higher than RC's Run!!!!

A TA might offer you a "gift" OBC on board credit, bottle of wine, no-name travel insurance, etc to sweeten the deal.

There are great TA's out there and some are to put it nicely - not!

CC bans TA names here. Sorry that we can not recommend who we use.

Search cruise sites, enter the exact ship, sailing date, cabin choice.

Once you get a price to your liking, call. Don't book on line.

Sometimes you'll get a better deal talking to a TA.

Good Luck!

Chris

Booking through the cruiseline gives you more power over your reservation (you can call to change it, ask for a price adjustment, etc). Booking through a TA means you have to work through an intermediary, but it also means that you have a contact point to answer questions, etc. Some TAs offer benefits such as gratuities or onboard credit, some don't. Some TAs add extra fees or charge beyond what the cruiseline would to cancel, some don't.
