Congratulations on great photos. I hope you enjoyed the trip the Senegal. Did you visit Goree island? It is a a fascinating place. I worked for a time in Senegal and have subsequently visited there on FO cruise ships. The photos of Cape Verde Island were good too. It's a pity they wouldn't let you land. I was on the Balmoral last Autumn and enjoyed our call there.

I am joining the Balmoral in mid-March for the Singapore / Vacouver sectors of its world cruise.

Hi Parsman,didn,t go to the island and I don,t like takeing my camera ashore in places like Dakar,however went into town on the shuttle and came back.

Have done it before on Boudicca 2006 ,with I believe Cpt.Johan .

 

You I,m sure will have a great time ,the ship gets better every time I go on her.:)

Thanks Merecat. Do you know if the sauna and steam room were open on your cruise? They were closed on the last occasion I sailed on the ship

Hi,yes they were,also top deck swimming pool,both closed while the outbreak was on but the restictions where lifted as everything subsided.:)
