Travelocity currently has this hotel listed for $160 CAD for the night of July 31. HAL has something called Copenhagen Hotel for $369 USD a night which includes airport-hotel-pier transfers for two people. Quite the difference if you ask me.

Wow, that is some difference. When we went on an Alaskan cruise with HAL as neophytes, we had an airport-hotel-cruise transfer package and they put us up at a 5 star hotel in Vancouver that is right on the pier. They may be doing the same in your case. Copenhagen Hotel may just mean one of the hotels they do business with in Copenhagen. I suggest you call HAL for more information, if you are interested. You can always check out hotels at Trip Advisor where travelers like all of us (as opposed to TAs) write reviews describing the facilities, what they liked and what they didn't like.

We ran into the same issue with HAL's before and after packages- don't be afarid to book on your own- even if you have to get a cab you have a couple hundred to play with. There are plenty of good options in copenhagen- several people reccomend the hotels by the airport- we are staying in town.

This is the best page for Copenhagen www.visitcopenhagen.dk also available in english. The hotels in Copenhagen are all OK, the most important thing is that the hotel is centrally located, near Tivoli or Rådhuspladsen. We usually pay 120 dollars for a nice double room inkl.the

wonderful danish breakfast.
