San Juan to NY Flight out of NY

We just booked the San Juan to NY on the CP and we can't wait! We have our airfare to San Juan but had a question about our flight home. From reading the boards we decided to hire car service to get us to the airport (LGA). We dock at 7:15 and wanted to know the earliest flight we could make out of NY (LGA).

I would say you could probably make an 11am flight. You would have to do the Early Walkoff with your own luggage.

One time I didn't get off the ship until 12:30pm

Another time 11:00am.

 

You are cutting it close.

You have to go through immigration, check-in for flights, then customs.

Which all takes time.

I do not recommend booking a departing flight before noon.

Assuming you meant "out of San Juan SJU":

 

Princess offers an El Yunque Rain Forest tour for disembarking pax.

I booked it because of a late flight. SJU is a zoo of an airport. :eek:

I didn't want to spend a minute more than necessary.

 

The tour included good views and the inevitable shopping stop. The shop was like a general store with snacks, drinks, etc.

We arrived at the airport about 1PM. It was a good time killer.

 

If you veto the tour, there are plenty of taxis at the dock. No need for a hire car.
