Cabins above restaurants...

Are the cabins above the restaurants noisy? I would think that they would not really be - even the Blue Lagoon late at night. Just wondering.

I think you'd have more of a problem if the restaurant was above you. Although we've had the cabin from H3ll with the disco below us.

That is what sleeping pills are for! I don't really think there will be too much screaming and carrying on in the Blue Lagoon!

I really don't think sleeping pills or ear plugs would've worked for us. It was Thump Thump Thump til 2:00-3:00 AM every morning!

I really **Don't know**. But, I have had to stay in the same area rooms in a hotel several times, where the rooms were over the resturant kitchen. The kitchen closed between lunch and dinner, and they apparently did heavy cleaning of the grills and stuff at that time. My God, did it STINK in the room while they did that. Is it like that on a cruise ship? I sure don't know. But because of what it was like in the hotel, I (for one) wouldn't chance it.
