Serenade of the Seas - dinner questions, gala buffet

Hi - we're going to be on the 3/14 s. carib. cruise and wondered if there are any other restaurants on the ship other than the Windjammer and the main dining rooms and the specialty restaurants. We know they don't have the promenade like the voyager class ships but wondered how much more they have than the ships the size of the Legend of the seas.

Also, how many midnight or gala buffets will they have on this cruise.

If anyone has anything they can tell us about the my time dining, it would be appreciated also. We've heard that many of those tables are in corners and not such desirable areas - is that true?

There's the Seaview Cafe..deck 12. I don't think they're doing the midnight things anymore. And there's a "snack" area in the Solarium...

There is a section of the dining room for the MTD---it's the same dining room as everyone else uses....

There really aren't any "bad" tables--after all, it's not the table, but the COMPANY at the table!

thanks for your info - do you know if the seaview cafe is open for dinner or is it just open during the day? I can't believe they don't even have one gala buffet - those always were something to look forward to. We never could eat much of anything on the buffet - we were still stuffed from dinner, but loved to go and take pictures and maybe nibble on some of the chocolate.

We had a "midnight" buffet on our cruise in Jan. (Not really at midnight!)
