Is there a long wait for the Flowrider?

Flowrider lines depend on when you go, if its a sea day and how many kids are on the ship (think spring break). First thing in the morning they offer advanced stand-up surfing. That simply means must be able to get on the stand up surf board without any assistance. There is usually a very small line for this especially very early in the week as most folks can't stand up without help. You can get 5 or six runs in during this session if you are "advanced".

After the first hour, they open up stand up surfing to beginners with help from the instructors. The morning session isn't too bad with waits about 5 to 10 minutes between runs. Afternoon sessions on sea days may have a 20+ minute wait between runs. Port days will have much shorter lines.

Teen only sessions are offered a couple of times and these had very short lines.

As for boggie boarding, it's very popular in the afternoon. On sea days, they will put in a divider and allow two people at once.

I'm 58 years old and love the flowrider having been on the Freedom, liberty and Indepedence.
