Can I order a bottle of sherry for the cabin?

Or would HAL consider "sherry" a wine and let me bring a bottle onboard? I'd rather order one, though, I think. Can't find it in the "onboard gifts" section. Any help would be appreciated!

I honestly dont know for sure, but if you do your online check in and click under on board gifts you can pre order liquor packages. Not sure if they have sherry for sure though.

I misread your question. We have been on about 15 cruises total and brought a bottle each time in our checked luggage. We have had no problem getting it onboard. Im sure you would have no problem bringing a bottle or two in your checked luggage, just pack them well so they dont break.

On our Mediterranean cruise, which left from Barcelona, we brought sherry on board and were not stopped.

We took sherry on board the Noordam last month along with our other wine. It didn't seem to be a problem. Next time, I think I'll go for port.
