Train info please!

I've searched on this forum about train transport to airport from Freeport cruise terminal. Somehow most people are taking the train to Central station.

 

To local experts as well as those who have done this before....Please give a detailed direction on where (any street name is helpful) around the freeport terminal is the train station located? How far is the walk from terminal? We're going to the airport so if you can give a train number/track is most helpful. Thanks!

Looking at the map in the link above, can we take the train from the airport to the station labeled "Nordhavn" (the german db train schedule says yes). It seems like that would be an easy walk to the terminal.

You can do everything you want...

 

If you can handle to walk with all your baggage from Nordhavn to Freeport: 8-12 minutes.

 

Why not???

 

BUT just to make sure: there are no direct trains from the Airport to Nordhavn. You need to change at Köbenhavn H (Hovedbanegaard = Central Station) to S-Tog (Commuter trains).

Thanks so much for the info. The map makes the walk look like it's just around the corner, but it's good to have a local's take on how far it actually is.

I just got done describing how my dad and i used public transport all over the baltic.....take a cab back from the ship to the main station near tivoli. At the end of the cruise, you'll be glad you did.
