Searching for a previous dining room crew member - SS Carnivale - 1981

Hello! I went on a cruise from Miami to Bahamas in 1981 on the SS Carnivale. I had a fabulous time. ALL of the crew members were so friendly and helpful. I made friends with a particular dining room crew member who was a waiter. His name was Carlos A.P. d'Almeida (or d'Aloreida). His native language was Portugese, but he spoke English pretty well. I have a faint memory that he was from Brazil. We corresponded by mail after my cruise, but we lost touch with each other. One of the pictures he sent me had an inscription on the back written French. I have been trying to find him for years. If anyone knows where he is or how to reach him. I would be most grateful. I am so sorry! We were not on the SS Carnivale. We were on the SS Emerald Seas.
