Paradise Beach Hours

We were recently on the Century, and planned to go right to Paradise Beach. We were told that the facilities weren't open until 10:00, (11:00 ship time), so we just wandered around at the pier for an hour. When we got to the beach, there were people already there, and had been for awhile. What's the deal? Paradise Tom, what's up? We will be returning there in January, and would like to go right to the beach this time. Thanks!
