Contacting the ship?

SO and I will be on the Sapphire Princess is 2 weeks.

 

We have a friend watching our house and our 4 salt water fish tanks. If by any chance there is an emergency, will there be any way for our friend to contact us on the ship?

 

If so, can anyone point me in the right direction as to how to go about doing this?

There are phone numbers to reach the ship, they should be listed on your documents, for your specific ship. But it is very expensive to do this. The less expensive way to contact you would be by internet email. This way you can check your email every few days for much less than a phone call.
