Welcome to Cruise Critic!

We're thrilled to have you on board.

When I sail from Galveston I like to get to the port at about 10 or 10:30. With a bit of luck you'll board a little after 11.

Of course, that depends on the ship being cleared of the previous passengers so your mileage may vary...

:)

Sorry to say every carnival cruise that we have been on, boarding time is around 12-12;30. And i have been on 10 criuses.

Don't arrive early and stand waiting for them to let you on ,it can be a real pain in the butt,if you have to wait over a hour.

And make sure you wear dress shorts with black socks and sandals for pre boarding.

They may let you on faster.

I've been onboard many ships at 11:00-11:15. No sense waiting to start a great vacation.

i'm trying to establish new cruisewear attire

you being a steelers fan,can wear gold shorts'blacksocks and sandals.

myself it would be silver and black.

Sorry buttons, no sandals... look for the white haired guy in the deck shoes with no socks...

Pretty close, huh !

I like to wear on embarkation, shorts, black socks and my cowboy boots. I always get on faster that way!
