2inTul Posted March 1, 2009 #1 Share Posted March 1, 2009 Does anyone know where the Norwegian Star is going to be between October 30 & November 22, 2009? Per the NCL website the last scheduled Mexican Riviera cruise is 10/24/09 for 7-nights and the next cruise scheduled is the 13-night Panama Canal LA-Miami on 11/23/09. By my calculations that leave 23 days unaccounted for. Is she going into dry dock? Is she chartered? Anyone have clue?
texascat Posted March 4, 2009 #2 Share Posted March 4, 2009 That is a very good question. Where would you find out about dry dock?
terrymtex01 Posted March 4, 2009 #3 Share Posted March 4, 2009 I don't know if that is when it is, but I do know I have read she is scheduled to go into dry dock and that would fit the time frame.. about six weeks.
swedish weave Posted March 4, 2009 #4 Share Posted March 4, 2009 I was told she is going into dry dock in San Francisco for two weeks. There may be some days set aside"just in case" the dry dock takes longer than scheduled.

rsohn65820 Posted March 4, 2009 #6 Share Posted March 4, 2009 I am new to crusing what do they do to a ship in dry dock? I will be on the Star 10/24/09 to 10/31/09. Should I have waited until after the dry dock for my trip or will it make that much difference?
