Scooter Rentals in St. Maarten?

Has anyone rented scooters in St. Maarten?

Do you know how much they are?

Where do you pick them up? are they close to the pier?

My adult sons would like to rent them for the day to get around the island but I am not sure where to pick them up as we have always just taken the water taxi right across to the beach. Can anyone help me with these questions? Thanks!

Scooters are hard to find in St. Martin, they use mostly 4Wheelers/ATV's.

We rented them back in Sept. and had a BLAST! You can take them on the roads, beaches, etc. We rented them for a whole day for like $60 bucks I think. The stands are to the right off the pier. We rented scooters in Cozumel the year before and I must say, I felt SO much better on the 4Wheelers.

Do you know the name of the company you rented the 4 wheelers from? I wonder if we can make an advance reservation? Also, any idea what the minimum age requirement is for driving?
