Anyone know what this will be like? Only other experience we have had was a outside cabin low down on Carnival and we were woken every morning as we pulled into port. Trading deck 8 for lower deck.

 

It is supposed to be a superior interior - whatever that means!

I don't know why you'd have any noise issues--deck 8 is the most convenient deck for pool, WJ, etc...

The cabin connects to the one next door, but that really shouldn't be an issue.

I wouldn't go lower!

Thanks - we actually got Deck 8 superior with free gratuities and $200 obc by booking with an online US travel agent for less than the cheapest inside basic cabin with an Australian travel agent. Even if our dollar totally tanks and ends up at 50c USD (it is now 64c) we are still ahead!
