Spirit cabin 5270

Recommended Posts

Has anyone out there stayed in cabin 5270 on the Spirit? It is one of the aft balconies on Upper Deck. Have this booked for Southbound Alaska in August and wondering if it is as nice as I heard it would be. If anyone has any pics of it would love to see them.:)

Thanks,

Just got back from a 8 day cruise and stayed in 5270 on the Spirit. Overall it was a nice cabin(steward Than was great) and even though it was across from the laundry room, never heard anything from the hallway.

Did find the noise level inside fairly annoying. Coming from the engines/props when thrusting in the water. Seemed to be much more bumpier in the back which caused a rattling noise inside the cabin that kept me from having a few good nights rest. Also, the deck was often full of black ash from the smoke stack. Frankly, sat outside only a few times due to the black stuff and found the chairs really uncomfortable which didn't recline at all. Boring, hard metal framed chairs.
