Sorry for the dumb question, but I cannot remember for the life of me..

but while on ship, do I need to carry my ID/Drivers license around everywhere with me for when I want to purchase a drink? I am in my mid-20's, so ya never know if they think I look too young or not...I just cant remember what I have done the past couple of times... I just dont remember if I had to take it everywhere.. do they have a system to where they know and dont ask each time?

thanks in advance!! :)

I was never carded on my last cruise in October...and I am 26...and still get carded for movies, restaraunts, etc.

Maybe when they run your Sail and Sign card they have a way of knowing...???

thank you both.. and thats what I am thinking.. Maybe they will mark it somehow.. I dont remember my past cards having my age on them tho... I will have to go dig thru my keepsake boxes.. I keep all of my vacay junk..lol..

I dont look tooo young.. but I do get carded at the most random times (which is fine by me).. but the less I have to carry around.. the bettter!.. but also, my friend who is 25, she is shorter (like 4'11), so hopefully they will have a way of knowing, rather than IDing alllll the time..

thank you! :)

When they run your sail & sign card it will tell them if you are old enough to buy alcohol. But they can still ask for ID if they think you look younger than 21.

To keep things simple, pick a bartender or server and stick with him/her. Even if you are asked for ID initially, you will not have to do it again.

Also, if you are planning on visiting the disco, bring your ID. They generally do not accept the S&S card as ID there if you look young.

Got carded once on the last cruise. More accurate would be to say I was asked if I had a photo ID with me. I looked at the bartender like she had 4 heads and said "no... do I need it?", and she said no its ok. Carried my license with me the whole time after that but noone asked again.

I'm no where near young enough to be carded anymore, but I always carry my DL with me cause if you win a single jackpot of more than $2000 you have to present your DL before you can claim it, and it's a complete hassle to leave the machine go back to the cabin go back to the casino.........
