Epic hotel downtown Miami, also cheap rate for 4* South Beach

Okay, first, has anyone stayed in the new Epic hotel in downtown Miami? It has a few reviews on trip advisor and all are very positive. Looks like a great hotel, I am just wondering how close it is to restaurants nearby? There is a great price on it at easyclicktravel.

 

Also, I don't think we are going to stay at South Beach because its only for one night and we won't even get in until 4pm (plus two kids), but there is a 4* South Beach hotel on Hotwire going for around $150 a night for the end of May. It is identified at betterbidding.com to be the Astor hotel. Just thought I would throw that out there in case someone is searching for a nice hotel at a good price.

Ive never stayed at either one of those hotels but ... I did take a moment to look at their websites --- If it were me ... I would stay at Epic. They both look like great hotels but I would prefer more of a downtown enviornment :) IMHO
