Valor refrigerator question

I thought about bringing a small ice pack so was wondering if the refrigerators in the rooms have a small freezer in them?

Yes, they do, but the refrig barely keeps the contents cool. My cabin is colder!:) There is plenty of ice available, could you use that instead?

Thanks for responding. I thought it would be nice to have an ice pack to put in my cool bag for shore days, to keep a water bottle cold a little longer. I will take one along and if it doesnt stay frozen I can pitch it.
