bqkali Posted March 13, 2009 #1 Share Posted March 13, 2009 Has anyone gone on a bear watching trip through Brown Bear Lodge? I am interested in a wildlife-oriented tour in Icy Strait Point, but would prefer to do it "land"-based. All the tour recommendations I have seen for ISP seem to be by boat. This lodge seems to be the only tour (other than ship excursions) I can find offering bear trips. Any opinions or recommendations would be helpful. GranMona Posted March 13, 2009 #2 Share Posted March 13, 2009 There are other land based wildlife tours in Hoonah. This is 2 others that I can remember, there might be more: http://www.teckkoutfittersicystrait.com/ http://forget-me-notoutfitters.com/services I don't know anyone that has used Brown Bear Lodge, but they have gotten good reviews on CC. Whoever you decide on, be making your reservations ASAP. The tours are filling fast for this season.
