turtle0215 Posted March 15, 2009 #1 Share Posted March 15, 2009 We are thinking about going to Xel-Ha for our excursion at Calica. Does anyone know how far Xel-Ha is from the port and how much a taxi would cost. We are planning to book the tour ourselves through the Xel-ha website. It is much cheaper and we can get all inclusive. Also has anyone else done the all inclusive? I would like to know if it was worth it. Thanks

It included food and drinks as well as the most park adventures. It is so beautiful. You will love it!

Calica is closer to Xel Ha than PDC is, but if you take a taxi from PDC to Xel Ha it currently runs around 360 pesos (less than $36 one way) for up to 4 people
dcikon2 Posted June 2, 2009 #4 Share Posted June 2, 2009 Why not take a collectivo to Xel-Ha? The collectivo only costs $2 for each person from Playa del Carmen to Tulum. I strongly recommend getting the inclusive package at Xel-Ha. That allows you to eat as much as you desire and includes snorkeling equipment and locker. We thought Xel-Ha was much better than X-Caret.
