Crown plaza hollywood beach

hi, does anyone know how far the crown plaza hollywood beach is from

the cruiseport, and is it close to restaurants etc, we are thinking of staying a couple of days before our cruise Nov 1. Also whats the weather like late oct early nov will we be able to use the beach. Thanks

We stayed at the Marriott Hollywood Beach a couple of weeks ago. It's at the north end of the beach - about 2 miles north of the Crown Plaza. Taxi to Port Everglades cost us $30 so add another $5 from the Crown Plaza.
