Tipping for stingray city

Haven't seen this mentioned althougn it's possible I missed. Do you tip your guides and if so, what % are you tippping?

This is the one question that no one seems to answer... how much to tip on excursions. I really wish I could find some guidelines.

However much you deem worthy and/or you can afford. If you have a great experience...tip more, if you had a terrible guide then I would not bother. I have personally tipped guides on excursions anywhere between $5-$20. It is completely up to you. There are no guidelines.

We usually tip $10 pp for a full day excursion and $5 for a half day excursion. If it's a combo, like zipline and ATV tour, then we split it between them as if it was 2 half day trips since the guides are usually different.

My wife and I went with moby dick and had a great time. We tipped 5 bucks each when we got off the boat.

Depending on the length of the excursion, we typically tip $5-$10. In my experience, I see more people not tip than offer a little something to the tour guides/boat captains.

Just got back from cruising on Destiny and tipped $5 ($4 for the crew and $1 to the bus driver) for a fantastic half-day $40 snorkel and stingray city tour. Good luck!:)
