Another smokiing question !

We will be on the Norwegian Jewel 10-30-09. Does anyone know how many bars are available for smoking (not cigars)? I only have heard of one deck 15? We do enjoy a cigarette and a cocktail, music before or after dinner?

I believe smoking OK in Casino and designated outside pool areas, etc., but not info on the wonderful bars. Thanks very much for a quick response. Would appreciate no negative comments regarding smokers !! Kind thanks

There is no smoking in the public areas inside the ship, with the exception of the Casino. You can smoke in your cabin, on your balcony, and on the port side of the pool deck. You can also smoke on the Promenade Deck. They have ashtrays attached to the wall out there.

Last time I was on Jewel the only bar you could smoke in, cigars or cigarettes, was one side of the (I think its called this, I might be confused) SkyHigh Bar which is one deck up from the main swimming pools.

 

There are barstools up at the bar and tables with chairs at the side of the bar under cover from the rain.

 

Its open on one side to the oceanair and is somewhat draughty.

That is the only true "bar" I have ever seen smoking allowed at since we have been sailing NCL. Even though there is a bar there, I don't consider that Casino a bar, so that is why I say that.

I never assume the worst in anyone..quite the contrary. I always find some good things, no matter what! Happy 25th Anniversary and many more. Enjoy the cruise, it'll be fantastic :-)
