Boarding Balmoral at Dover

Hi

Can someone tell me what time boarding starts at Dover for the Balmoral?

When we sailed on the Black Watch from Dover last year boarding starting early/mid afternoon.

 

Timings were given in the information sent out with the tickets, not that people followed that. We were on the top deck and listed as first for boarding, when we walked into the departure lounge, spot on time, it was full!!

We were given an arrival time with our tickets but arrived early as we had to travel 350 miles and had given ourselves some leeway in case of problems. We fully expected to be asked to wait somewhere but everyone was very helpful. We even boarded really early but there was only tea and coffee in the cafe on board available, so no great benefit to arrive early unless forced too by circumstances - cabins were still released as advised which was either 2 or 3 oclock with a 4 oclock sailing.
