AT&T Cell phones have coverage there, but it costs about .89 cents per minute between roaming and Barbados service charges. There are lots of internet cafes if that is an option for you as well.

We really liked the internet cafe on board ship. We were able to keep in touch with our children and other family members daily. Also able to check in with work. The cost was only about $60 for 100 minutes. We just checked our home email. We also booked our own shore tours and were able to confirm or change times if needed. Hoping to use the internet again.
