I know RCCL got rid of the 3 day Baja, but...

Did RCL stop their 3/4 nighters out of San Diego?

To the best of my knowledge, Royal Caribbean never sailed a 3/4 night out of San Diego.

San Diego was the Tuesday port call on the 4 night run.

Many of us, on the West Coast, miss the Monarch and the ability of a quick cruise. My DW and I loved the 4 night trips especially!

Lucky East Coasters!!:)

Carnival Paradise sails the 3/4 night itineraries out of LA and the Elation sails 3/4 nights out of San Diego. That's it for the short cruises on the Left Coast other than one-way repositioning cruises to/from the Northwest.:(

Search this thread and you'll see my review of the Paradise (it's titled, "Royal Caribbean made me try Carnival and I liked it"). We enjoyed ourselves as much as we enjoyed ourselves on Monarch, although Paradise isn't nearly as pretty. In fact, she is one ugly ship. But the food and service were terrific.:)
