Carnival Destiny Eastern Car. with toddlers

Hello to everyone on here. This is a very informative site. I have been doing hours of reading. However i decided to post, first to say hello, and to get some info. ;)

 

We are going on Carnival Destiny on April, 20th. Very excited. We have cruised before. However this time we will have our 2 sons, ages 2 and 4 with us. So we deciced on the 5 day destiny, 1st because it is our first time cruising with the kids, so we did not want to do a 7 day yet. Also chose the destiny because it goes 2 places we have not been, and it seems like a kid friend itinerary.

 

Well what should we expect with 2 toddlers. Have already read great things about kids camp, and got info on them opening the doors. And have read lots of great threads and aquired much needed info.

 

Does anyone have the capers for the destiny, we are doing the nass, castaway, turks iten?

 

Hopefully we will get the upgrade call. Got a great rate because my husband gets a mil discount. So if this goes well we will cruise again this year. Hopefully a 7 day next time. Thanks all for your info and time.

We loved the Destiny, just got back 4 days ago but we did Western itinerary (Ocho Rios and Grand Cayman). You are smart to try a 5 night cruise with your kids for the first time. Ours are 4 and 8 and I noticed how worn out they got from all the activities, etc. especially my 4 year old. I will maybe try a 7 night cruise in a year or so. Have a great time!
