So, do you like the Pride?

Does anyone know if the PRIDE has the 20 ft TV screen on the Lido Deck? We had a great time last year on the Freedom with movies under the stars at night on the Lido deck TV screen. WE sail in 2 weeks! Can not wait.;)

While we have booked the pride for a September sailing I have been on both the Miracle and truimph and they were great ships.. we were going to sail the miracle again when we found the pride and from everything I have heard they are very similiar. I am hoping we enjoy this as much as the last two.

One thing to watch for when you book the Pride (or any Spirit class ship). Pay attention to where your balcony is in relation to the cutouts on the deck. If you are "out" you have the better views. If you are "in", you may have to contend with lifeboats below you. (I love to watch the water right next to the ship.) Also, if you are in two cabins, and right at a break, your balconys cannot be joined (as we like to do with family).

Not getting a balcony? Never mind. I loved the Pride - thought it felt the least crowded of any cruise I have been on.

DH and I are looking at a cruise out of Baltimore on the Pride. I haven't heard much about this ship...can anyone help me out? Is it nice? What cabin category do you recommend for this ship. We usually get a balcony.

Having sailed on Pride 3 times I say she was ok, not as nice as Spirit or other ships like Valor, Freedom etc. Just ok.

We LOVED the Pride! She was our first cruise, and is what got us hooked on cruising. Beautiful ship. Although it's been a few years, the decor on Pride was my favorite so far...very elegant.

Spirit class (which Pride is) are my favorite ships. I love the layout, which is very easy to navigate. I love the flat pool areas (instead of the stadium-style tiered seating on Conquest ships). I love the smaller, less crowded feel of the Spirit class.

You can't go wrong with Pride!

As far as cabins.......they are virtually the same on all Carnival ships. So, if you've been in a balcony or oceanview cabin on one Carnival ship.......they are the same on all. Only difference is obviously, the balcony cabin has a balcony ~ other than that, it's identical to an oceanview.

I absolutely agree with everything momofzeke says!! The Spirit Class are by far our favorite ships. We have sailed on all of them execpt the Miracle - and hopefully she will work in to our plans soon ;).

You may want to try an aft balcony. Our first aft balcony was on the Triumph - and we have progress to the aft wrap arounds. But if you love being out on the balcony - the aft balcony may be something to try.

I agree - you can not go wrong with the Pride!!

I noticed there were girls that were in the disco that were smoking? Is there smoke everywhere? I am allergic and if it is allowed all over the ship i might want to reconsider which ship i take. I have been on elation, glory, liberty and a princess cruise but the only area really that was an issue was in the casino, i believe there were restricted areas on liberty.
