penthouse suites on Jewel.

We, too, had priced the Disney Baltic cruises and decided it would not be worth it. Any suite on NCL will be very nice. The biggest perk, in my opinion, is breakfast & lunch available at Cagney's. We've only sailed one time so far on NCL but it was in a penthouse suite and we felt like royalty. You will have a butler & concierge available and you can order anything (not just the usual limited room service menu) to be brought to your room. Depending on what type of suite you select, you will have different amenities. But one thing for sure it you will love it.

Take the time to explore this website because there is a wealth of information available. I'm sure someone else can add more to this.

We will be sailing in an AB suite on the Jewel in October and I can't wait!!

There are two levels of suites on NCL Jewel class ships; courtyard accessable A1, A2, AA, A3, and A4, which is a private courtyard, private sun deck, and the other amenities provided at this level. Then the non courtyard level, which are on other decks. All have butler and concierge service, breakfast and lunch in Cagney's. If you do a web sarch or webshot search, you can find pictres of almost all of them.

AD suites are located across the stern (AFT) and have extremely large balconies (they will hold 2 full-sized loungers) and a view that cannot be beat.

A3 suites are located in the CY area and are the same layout as an AB (2 bdrm/2bath). They have access to the CY area, as well as all of the other suite perks for suite levels AE up through AB.

Only you can decide if the additional $$ for a CY suite are worth it - the European cruises tend to be very port intensive and you need to determine how much time you would actually be spending in the courtyard.

Either way, NCL suite perks are IMO the best!

Sorry - no complimentary mini-bar set-up included. You will receive a bottle of sparkling wine on embarkation though.. You will LOVE the AB though - the masterbath is awesome! We had our first suite on the Dawn and we've never gone back.........
