Cunard reunion get together uk

I had an idea that a few of us could all get together for a get together in a pub, club or hotel, maybe in southampton or London in a few months time:)

 

Maybe we can have a good chat, meet old friends, hotels could be booked, maybe a meal.

 

anyone who would be interested let me know.

 

give an idea of dates, town, venue, drinks or meal or both.

 

anyone who would or could help organise it with me.

Sothampton seems logical as it is the home of Cunard and was the home of QE2 :D

 

Also maybe it could become a regular get together and even invite guest speakers , Captains etc :)

your idea is wonderful gavin as always, yes we could do that, regular meetings, im up for that.

Can we say saturday may 16th, at the lamargherita for lunch to start off with, if we like the venue we can do a dinner etc.

 

anyone who wants to stay overnight can also meet up for drinks later.

 

only 2 ships leaving that anyway, we can then maybe organise more dates and as Gavboy says, maybe get some cunard captains or speakers to come along, im sure we can work out a lot to do.

I don't know if anyone wants to wait till October, but I was thinking of 12- Oct for lunch before Capnpugwash departs on QV or 23-Oct when QM2 arrives from Around Britain. I think QV is also in Southampton that day. I could make either of those. Just a thought.

Ok, I emailed the resturant, lunch on saturday may 16th, when I get the details I will post them here,

 

can you let a few people know, on the other thing too nudge, nudge lol
