How Long to Disembark?

Depends on the ship, the port and how fast the ship clears customs..!

It's really a crap-shoot and no one can really forecast the results.. :(

This past April, we were back to the airport in time for a quik breakfast and had oodles of time to catch a 1215 PM flight, so it was pretty quik.. One before that, we had a 1259 PM flight and we all had a liesurely lunch at the airport, and caught up on the 'news' before departure.. Good luck!! :)

This coming April we have an 1148 AM flight from Tampa after an 8 AM arrival at the pier, and we figure to have enough time.. Even my TA says that is almost a perfect time..!! We can only hope!! :D

We had a very long and leisurely breakfast, came back and showered, and were the last color called. We were off the ship by 11:15am.... It all depends on customs and whether or not the passengers have followed instructions on their immigration cards when you'll actually get off the ship.

We've been off the Majesty of the Seas by 8:30, but the Security line for customs took about 40 minutes, then you had to collect your luggage, so make it 9:30 (We were the second color called)

We did not make it off Carnival Triumph last year til 1:30 pm, due to a big drug bust onboard.

On average I'd say we've made it off the ship by 10:30

Carnival usually recommends flights after 1:00 to 1:30 pm.

Lots of people will tell you......."Just go to the pursers office and tell them you need VIP tags" to get off early.

But, could you imagine how many people are doing this these days.

Of course for some people it's the only flight they can get, or a matter of paying some really high price.

Anyway, if there is a Drug Bust

or perhapsthe Dept. of Homeland Big Brotherhood gets a wad in their panites, No One gets off the ship til they say.

So it's all a roll of the dice.;)
