across the seas Posted March 24, 2009 #1 Share Posted March 24, 2009 We are continuing on to Dulin after our Crown Aug 12 trip...would like to know if anyone can tell us if our 3 teenagers will be able to eat during the day at the local pubs or if there is an age restriction? newport dave Posted March 24, 2009 #2 Share Posted March 24, 2009 I think the rules for kids eating in pubs during the day in Dublin are the same as the UK, whch means they would be fine. In the UK kids can normally stay in a pub until 2100 hrs if they are eating food. I would of thought it was similar for Ireland, but don't quote me on it. I'm sure someone will be able to give a more definate answer. David
sustyse Posted March 24, 2009 #3 Share Posted March 24, 2009 Children under 18 are admitted into pubs in Ireland until 9.00 pm absolutely no problem. Even if you just want to go in for a drink they will be allowed in with you. Enjoy Dublin, it's a fabulous city.
