Arcade on Emerald?

Have a few questions for any parent that has sailed on the Emerald. Am wondering if there is an arcade card that the kids can purchase to play or do they just insert their seapass card?. We ran into a bit of trouble with teen on RCCL where he was able to reactivate (after we put a stop to charges) and rang up over 200$ at the arcade before we took his seapass away. Also, do the younger kids have a seperate arcade area or are they all together?

Thanks

Anne

There are no arcade cards. You use coins just like any arcade you would visit at home. The arcade works like the casino for adults. You need cash for the casino...you need cash for the arcade. For the younger kids, there is one night designated to the kids in the 8 to 12 yr. old program where the arcade is free for them. Just so you understand, the arcade is separate from the areas. It is across the hall from the 3 groups, but it is not considered part of the program. The three groups are side by side on the 17th floor, and the arcade is right across the hall from the teen centre. If you go into the arcade you do not have to be supervised or have to sign in. It is a free play area for all.

I have the kids patters right here...just got off the Emerald a while ago...if you have any more questions.
