Getting around - taxi question

I'm wondering if it's reasonble to ask a taxi driver to bring us from the ship to Orient at 830am, then a few hours later to Grand Case where we want to roam, shop and eat lunch, then back to the pier.

 

Is this the way to do it, or would you suggest finding another taxi in Grand Case to take back to the ship?

 

We are docked on Friday, April 3 from 8am - 530pm.

You can always find cabs waiting for passengers at Orient. Can't tell about Grand Case but my guess would be that one can be called,

 

With multiple stops, it is cheaper and more flexible to just rent a car at the pier. Several agencies there including Hertz, Budget and several locals. They all close at 5 PM in the afternoon which ties into your schedule.

 

One ring road goes around the island and they drive on the right.
