No prior arrangement necessary. Just go to the check in desk in the main lobby at the Wyndham. Day Passes are $40 pp (kids under 3 are free). Day Pass includes a Buffet Lunch as well as pools, slides, towels, tubes, mats, and the beach and pool at the Sheraton as well.
can'twaittacruise Posted March 30, 2009 #3 Share Posted March 30, 2009 We have gone a few times and just walked through the lobby and on to the beach. There are always chairs available. We take our own towels. There are a few places to eat on the premises and of course, the casino. By the way, we have also vacationed at the hotel and enjoyed our stay. Try the jitney bus for transportation. At 1.25 per ride it is a great experience.

Cruisers now get bracelets that identify them as day trippers. Others are asked to leave if spotted by lifeguards or security.

noslow100 Posted March 30, 2009 #6 Share Posted March 30, 2009 Does anyone know if there are lockers or a place to secure your items at the Wyndham? I want to take a camera with me but I dont want to just leave it in my bag on the beach while I'm in the water. Also, since this is a private beach will there still be people walking up to you on the beach asking to braid your hair? Thanks for the replies in advance. Your day pass allows you to use the gym.. which has showers and lockers. Not alot of vendors.. but there are some. They are somewhat "'controlled" by the hotels. Mostly on Sheraton Beach. I didn't see any by the pools.. Just near the jetski guys on the beach.
houstoncruisers2001 Posted March 31, 2009 #8 Share Posted March 31, 2009 I was just at the Wyndham and really enjoyed it though it was a rainy day. If I was ever back in Nassau on a cruise ship I'd do it again. It is nice that a lunch buffet was included in the price of the day pass. The staff was really friendly too.
