ID Cards required for Isle of Wight

There is speculation that the UK government is to announce that ID cards will be required for any one travelling to the Isle of Wight. It is all part of the anti terrorism legislation.

The Ferry companies will also be required to obtain some information on behalf of the government before travel can commence.

This is the world gone mad.

Well it's a bit like the French OAPs I accompanied on a tour letting themselves get wound up by their leader insisting they hold their passports open against the coach windows as we crossed the border from England to Scotland!!!
