simkoreb Posted March 29, 2009 #1 Share Posted March 29, 2009 As Spartan Alumni, and DH is a die hard MSU basketball fan, I need to ask.. Will Monday's National Championship game be televised on the Valor????????? I assume so, but can anyone confirm? Of course we're missing the game Saturday since they play as we are in the air. grrrrr....hopefully they make it to Monday.
terisu10 Posted March 29, 2009 #2 Share Posted March 29, 2009 I bet so! We were on a cruise in November when the Gators (I'm an alum) were playing South Carolina and they showed the game at one of the lounges. It was a lot of fun. The place was packed with fans from both teams and we cheered and partied - the Gators won! In any case, they will show the games at the sports bar. My BFF is married to a Spartan and she just called - they just got plane tickets to fly to Detroit to the final four. We live in Florida. I have come to love MSU and follow MSU football and basketball. I even wear green and white on game days because of my friends :) Congratulations to your DH. Of course we're missing the game Saturday since they play as we are in the air. grrrrr....hopefully they make it to Monday. We were on the Valor last year and the games were indeed televised. You will be able to see them in your cabin as CBS is pretty much always available, the sports bar and possibly on the lido deck on the big screen. carrollgap Posted April 1, 2009 #7 Share Posted April 1, 2009 We were on the Valor last week (3/22-3/29) and not only did we get all the games on the TV in our stateroom, but they were also shown on the big screen on the Lido deck. State's game (I grew up in EL) was also on in the Bronx Bar (smoking) next to the Casino. GO GREEN, GO WHITE! "SEE THEIR TEAM IS WEAK...." SPARTY ON!!!! They said that since OU was not playing they did not think anyone would want to watch.:( We have been on 2 super bowl cruises and they always have the game on everywhere. Including the theater.
