my $.02 Posted March 30, 2009 #1 Share Posted March 30, 2009 I did do a search, and cant find anything specific to this age or ship so wanted to ask. My wife and I are thinking of booking this cruise for 1/24/2010 after taking a 2 year "break" from cruising. One question I have is what programs have people used for kid's in this age group? It looks to me from the site that everything is for over 3, but you can accompany your 2 year old. I was hoping for some time where we can leave him to play and catch some R and R. Any experiences with this would be greatly appreciated!!
cb at sea Posted March 30, 2009 #2 Share Posted March 30, 2009 Most of the kid's clubs require 3 and up and potty-trained (Disney, I think, is the exception). Some ships have "play-time", but mom or dad have to be present and play with the kids themselves. Some ships have in-room babysitting...call and ask about that option. dianefish Posted March 31, 2009 #3 Share Posted March 31, 2009 Carnival and Norwegian allow potty-trained two year olds in their kids program. Celebrity only allows you to hire their in-cabin babysitters for your two year old.
Arwenmark Posted March 31, 2009 #4 Share Posted March 31, 2009 As an additional note, unless the child is potty trained they are not allowed in the swimming pools either including in swim diapers.
