Transportation from Carnival pier to LGB

We, my DH and I, are debarking the Splendor on 5/3/09 and need transportation to LGB.

We usually buy Carnival tranfers, but Carnival doesn't offer transportation to LGB. Will there be taxis available or should we book the Supershuttle? Thanks!

Last time I cruised on Pride there were a lot of taxis at the pier. The LGB is 11-12 miles ride.

I have a reservation at the Queen Mary and the wonderful gentleman that helped me said the best best is a yellow taxi - about 20 bucks. And that is cheaper than any of the shuttles prices.
