shopping in Cabo

Is there a main street that has mostly stores to shop at. Looking for a Sombrero and like Mexican souvinors

Cabo is a very easy town to walk. The main street is Marina Blvd and you access that from the marina walkway. Just follow it from the tender pier until you reach Solomon's Landing restaurant and then either go to the left to the front of the Tesoro resort or straight thru the restaurant to the lobby of the Tesoro. The street that fronts the resort is Marina Blvd. The best prices though are off the main street. Walking toward town, turn left after just a block at the Shrimp Factory. The 3 blocks behind Marina Blvd have the best restaurants and best shopping in Cabo!

if you go to Puerto vallarta, they have better shopping than cabo right at the outdoor flea market, its right when you walk out of the pier area, best deals to find there, in cabo they are real high in price and dont barter much

That is true in the touristy areas but not in the part of town that I mentioned above. There are more areas in these towns to explore than the pier which are known tourist rip-offs. Venture off the beaten path and you will find the best deals.

I have to agree! We've been to Cabo twice, the first time as a land vacation. We learned the town pretty easily and if you go up a couple of blocks from Marina Blvd. there are tons of shops off the beaten path and we've always been able to barter very well there. We did the same thing in downtown PV, also. If you walk up 2 to 3 blocks across from the Melacon, you will be in their shopping area not the tourist shops. Great clothes stores up in there.
