First time on Carnival - Spirit - Alaska

What do people wear to dinner (not formal nights), ie; men - open neck shirt and dress pants or do they wear ties and jackets, ladies- slacks and nice top.

 

Is there a small refrig in cabin?

 

We have asked for early seating, I was told we would get seating arrangement from the maitre'd. When do we get the seating arrangement, when we go to dinner the first night or do we have to rush to the dining room as soon as we arrive to get what we want.

 

Told we can prepay tips, anybody do this.
