we are cruising in 22 days and just wanted to know if anyone has gotten any upsell / upgrade calls recently. tell me about them. we are on the freedom 4/25/09 and we are hoping for the call.

We got an upgrade from a 4A to a 6B (inside to Oceanview, midship).. pretty excited and we're right by the elevators!

what ship and date, do you mind me asking how much it was pp?

My upgrade call was to upgrade from a cat 8H to a cat 11. They wanted @200 ea. We said NO. and added why not upgrade for free. Then I said $100 for both of us. That didn't work. So we are still in our 8H.

I think the ship may be filling up nicely at this point, so the upgrades don't seem to be that great. I'm not worried about it though b/c ultimately we saved $200 off the current price on a GT'd room. If if I look at what Catgy. we actually got put in, we saved $255. I'm happy! I'm going on Vacation!:D
