cigar smoking question

My husband likes a cigar once in awhile, are you allowed to smoke one on your balcony or is that prohibited.

Yes, he can smoke one on the balcony.... depending on the ship, there may be a cigar bar as well....

Yep he sure can. You can too if you want ;). Then again you may end out with some self-righteous neighbors who insist that you don't smoke on the balcony or insist on setting up a schedule for said smoke breaks.:rolleyes:

Indeed! It's your balcony and you can do almost anything you'd like on it. Hopefully you won't have neighbors who object. In truth, we rarely hear our balcony neighbors on cruises. It seems everyone has their own schedules and it works out perfect.:D

...however have a heart for your downwind neighbors, a cigar can be pretty annoying to a non-smoker and you really are in very tight quarters on a ship. Hopefully your schedules don't conflict such that your husband lights up just as they're sitting down for breakfast on the balcony.

That reminds me of our last cruise, there was this one man who I never saw ( or smelled) without a cigar. He looked like the head newspaper guy from the Spiderman movies, but he was always there lurking with that cigar in his hand.

I really don't care if people smoke, I just don't like it when people blow the smoke in my face.
