Carnival Caller ID

If you get a call from Carnival for an upgrade or upsell, what appears on your caller ID? Basically, I am just interested to know if you would know that it was Carnival attempting to call you.

every call i've ever got from carnival out of the blue was from a miami area code, 305. that's how i know it's carnival...

When I got my call it said Carnival on the ID. I kind of panicked when I saw it at first because it was just a few days before we were to sail and I thought they calling to tell me they had cancelled the cruise due to a charter.:o They were calling for a upsell to a suite. It was a nice surprise. Of course I took it.:D

How it is displayed has to do with your telephone carrier....

When my PVP kept calling before I was booked, it was unknown name with an 1-800 number

Don't get you hopes up. I have only had one upgrade call from carnival and that was years ago

How it is displayed has to do with your telephone carrier....

 

Yea, I believe there is Caller ID (Displays the number) and then Caller ID with Name (Shows name with number).

 

Evidently different telephone providers have different configurations.

Calls from our PVP do show as Carnival Cruise Line. I had asked our PVP specifically not to call as I was planning a surprise cruise and didn't want anyone in the family wondering why Carnival was calling, but he called twice. Grrrrr...
