Sabitini's cost and reservations?

We are booked on the Golden May 5-9, Vancouver/Ketchikan/Seattle. We'd like to eat at Sabatini's one night but not sure which night would be best to make reservations? I've read that the dining room has better menus on formal night so not to book Sabatini's then. Any idea which night will be formal night on that cruise? Also, what is the current cost for Sabatini's? Do you make those reservations on board at the Purser's desk or the restaurant? Sorry for so many questions :)

We ate at Sabatini's on March 30, the third night, of our Mexican Riviera Cruise. The regular restaurant menu that night was the Italian Dinner. So instead, we just had better Italian food at Sabatini's. The cost was $20 pp.

The formal nights were on the second and sixth nights. I cannot tell you when the formal nights will be on your itinerary. But, your "Welcome Aboard" issue of the Princess Patter will list the formal nights and dress code in the "CRUISE ITINERARY" table.

When you get on board your ship, simply press the "Dining Hotline" button on your cabin's telephone and make a reservation. I recommend doing this the first thing when you get to your cabin. It's just that easy. No waiting in line at the purser's desk or going to the restaurant. (You can go to Sabatini's restaurant in person to make the reservation if you prefer to stand in a line ;).)

The Dining Hotline number is also what you call to make reservations for the Chef's Table ($75 pp), and Sterling Steakhouse ($15 pp). (Your ship may have other restaurants.)
