Sushi for canapes?

My wife and I are going on our first NCL cruise in may although we have cruised before. We will be on Jade in an AD suite. My question is this, will it be ok to ask the butler for sushi instead of the normal canapes and secondly, will the butler bring us a martini when we are getting dressed for dinner?

Sushi ? most likely no , but maybe ( that comes from a charge rest. )

Martini ? absolutly , but , why not just order a bottle for your room and make your own . That way you dont have to wait :D

i have been told that NCL prohibits sushi to served in cabins/suites because of

health reasons.

You certainly can ask your butler to bring you pre-post or early AM cocktails (do I hear Mimosa?) and he will bring the charge slip for your signature, wait while you sign and then he will return signed slip to the bar/restaurant.

On the Jewel last week in an AE suite. One of the afternoon snacks was veggie rolls. I'm sure they can bring you those if you ask - just maybe no raw fish. They came with ginger, soy sauce, and wasabi.
