Hi, my neighbor just returned from sailing the Inspiration from 4/6-4/11. She said they missed a port the same day two people had to be medically evacuated from the ship. Anyone on this cruise know what was going on? She said she got little info and didnt know if they missed port b/c of the sick passengers or what. She heard they may have been a couple who both became ill. Also, if you were on this cruise, how did you enjoy it? Sounds like my friend had a miserable time, said service was bad and food was worse. Also said public areas were a mess, with toilets overflowing etc. We are on this ship in Sept and am a bit nervous now. Thanks!

Well, if you find other reports of the same, you still have time to change your mind.

We were on that cruise and yes we did miss Grand Caymen because of high seas and they would only let 3 ships tender up (think they said there was a total of 10 ships scheduled in that day). We did stay in the area while they took 2 people ashore for medical reasons which we were told was broken ankles. As for the rest of the cruise, we had a great time and had no problems with service, food or facilities other than the normal chair hogs on deck.

Thanks for the bit of info. Anyone else on this cruise that can offer any opinions on the service, food, and cruise overall or any further info on what happened to the two people on board? Makes sense that the port was missed due to weather conditions rather than b/c of the sick passengers, maybe just a coincidence in timing then? Thanks.
